Throught out the three terms I have been at PPC, I have had more than half of my teachers replaced in the middle of the term. The director of education has been trying to come in and change the grading scale (the grading scale is already tougher than a traditional school!). Many of the teachers are not knowledgeable about the subjects they are teaching, which leaves the students feeling as if they cant ask questions. I would never recommend this school to anyone. Make sure to look around before even considering this school as an option.

As a former student I would strongly suggest anyone visit different insitutions before they commit or PAY money to go here. Ask to sit in on a class if possible!! This school is just poorly organized, instructors are awful and you really don't learn what your SUPPOSED to learn. Have heard of many students who found this to be a waste of time since after graduating and didn't find a job. Keep in mind the "advisor" you go to to find out more info. about this school is there to make money and they just want to squeeze in and squeeze out as many students as possible. Don't make the same mistake I DID!!!!

This is a word of advice to anyone thinking about attending this school. As a former student at Pioneer Pacific I experienced many unsettling things. I would urge anyone to explore all options in Portland when deciding on a school for medical assisting. I would suggest checking into another program that has much more to offer than just a good catalog, but a great education as well. I would suggest another school in Portland called Concorde Career Institute.
